The 48th annual Spring Fair is happening this Friday through Sunday at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
Known as southern Oregon’s premiere craft fair, the 48th annual event brings together local and regional artisans, crafters and entertainers. Over 120 booths offer attendees a unique opportunity to view and purchase hard to find hand crafted treasures. Other booths will offer henna body art, massage, herb and plant products and more.
Continuous live entertainment is the hallmark of the Spring Fair. Two stages showcase music, dance, magic, vaudeville, and much more. The main stage will feature performances from the Kudana Marimba Band, Wildlife Safari, middle eastern dancers, the Barbara Healy Quartet, pianoman Toby Bates and more. The café stage, next to the InnerSpace Family Kitchen, offers a venue where local and traveling musicians and entertainers play for their supper and the pleasure of Spring Fair diners.
Spring Fair is presented by InnerSpace Family, a volunteer group of artisans. The event will be open Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Admission is $5 for adults, and $3 for kids ages 6 to 12. Seniors over age 65 and children age 5 and under are admitted for free. Musicians with instruments and clowns in make-up are also admitted for free.
