A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 7:00 a.m. Friday morning for mountain areas in parts of southern Oregon.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said additional snow accumulations up to two inches are expected.

The Advisory area includes the southern Oregon Cascades and Siskiyou Mountains. This applies to the Siskiyou Pass on Interstate 5, Mt. Ashland, Diamond Lake Junction and Crater Lake.

Forecasters said motorists should expect slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning commute.
