Roseburg Police jailed a man for warrants and cited him for drinking, early Friday.

An RPD report said at 1:30 a.m. officers contacted the 59-year-old from Klamath Falls, while he was sitting next to an open beer in the 200 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. Dispatch confirmed that there were a number of warrants for his arrest.

The man was taken into custody without incident. He was also issued a citation for drinking in public. The man was detained on $5,000 bail.
