DCSO JAILS MAN FOR TRESPASS, CRIMINAL MISCHIEF INCIDENT

Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a man following a trespass incident on Wednesday.

A DCSO report said just after 10:30 a.m. the deputy was notified of an active trespass at the county’s Glendale transfer site in the 200 block of Glendale Transfer Road in Glendale.

54-year-old Eric Ponder was contacted and allegedly admitted to stealing county owned gravel, trespassing and cutting gate locks the previous evening. Deputies located a bolt cutter and approximately 2.64 grams of methamphetamine.

Ponder was charged with 3 counts each of second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree criminal mischief, possession of burglar tools and unlawful possession of meth.

He was detained without bail.
