Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping on Monday night.

An RPD report said at 11:00 p.m. officers contacted the 40-year-old at his camp in Deer Creek Park in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street. The man’s camp was larger than the 10 feet by 10 feet space limit and the contents of his camp extended beyond the main structure. It was in violation of the manner portion of the camping ordinance.

The man was released after being given the citation.
