Roseburg High School Theater Department presents – Something Like a Christmas Carol, opening soon.

It is an original adaptation written this year by drama instructor Troy Pennington. In the synopsis, a community theater troupe in Connecticut is attempting to put on the seventh annual production of Charles Dickens play – A Christmas Carol.  There is only one problem – everything!  The actors are out sick, the costumes never arrived, and the set is missing!  A fearless director and her anxious team assemble a motley crew of community members to pull off one of the greatest feats in theatre history – build, rehearse, and perform an entire show in less than seven hours!  Will the show go on? Spoiler alert: it does – but you have never seen A Christmas Carol like this.

Performances are Friday and Saturday nights at 7:00 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m., December 6th through the 15th. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 13 and under, and $5 for any student with identification.
