Bloodworks Northwest is having a blood drive Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The non-profit from Seattle is partnering with local employment agency, Selectemp for the event.

Bloodworks Northwest will bring in a bus that has the capacity to seat four donors. The donation process takes about an hour, including the answering of around 40 questions, 10 minutes for the actual blood draw and 10 minutes for recovery time.

The blood collected in Roseburg will be sent to Seattle for all its testing but will be returned to CHI Mercy Medical Center. CHI Mercy Health Director of Communications Sarah Baumgartner has confirmed that Bloodworks Northwest is the hospital’s source for blood,
