Roseburg Police jailed a woman following a theft at a store on Monday.

An RPD report said at 11:15 a.m. officers contacted the 34-year-old after she allegedly stole $5 worth of hair dye from a business in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard.

The suspect admitted to the theft and told officers she had enough money to pay for the hair dye but chose not to. She was charged with third-degree theft. She was detained on $1,250 bail and was released later in the day.
