A Roseburg man was cited by Roseburg Police for prohibited camping on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 11:00 a.m. officers contacted the 47-year-old in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street. He was camping in a prohibited area along the river at Gaddis Park. The camp was larger than 10 feet by 10 feet and was set up after 8:00 a.m. The man was released after being given the citation.
