Roseburg Police cited a woman for an alleged theft incident on Monday.

An RPD report said shortly after 1:20 p.m. officers responded to a business in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewert Parkway after a caller said the suspect was shoplifting.

Officers contacted the 44-year-old and learned that she had attempted to walk out of the store with numerous unpaid items. In addition, she had allegedly placed clearance tags on items that were not on clearance. The woman was cited for theft in the second-degree and was released on the scene.
