A California man was taken to the hospital after a single vehicle crash on Monday.

An Oregon State Police report said shortly after 6;00 p.m. the 33-year-old was headed north on Interstate 5, a mile south of the Canyon Creek summit, when his sedan hydroplaned and struck the center barrier. The driver was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center with minor injuries. His vehicle was towed from the scene.
