MYRTLE CREEK WOMAN JAILED FOLLOWING REPORTED DISTURBANCE

A Myrtle Creek woman was jailed by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office following a reported disturbance on Wednesday.

A DCSO report said just after 3:30 p.m. 25-year-old Lily Selzler and the victim got into a verbal disturbance that allegedly turned into Selzler attacking him. She reportedly grabbed several large-bladed knives before reportedly threatening him and chasing him into the bedroom with the knives. Selzler allegedly attempted to stab the victim at one point before he was able to disarm her.

Selzler was charged with menacing, unlawful use of a weapon, resisting arrest and harassment. Bail was set at $10,000.
