In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

First Presbyterian Church in Roseburg continues its Lenten Meditations in Music series Friday afternoon.

Designed as a time for prayerful contemplation, the event will feature music from the Bone Dawgs Trombone Quartet. The group includes Jeff Plummer, Trevor Thompson, Bob Carwithen and Dave Wolf.

It’s presented in the church’s sanctuary on Southeast Lane Avenue in downtown Roseburg from 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. It can also be seen on the church’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.

The series will wrap up next week with a special Good Friday program.
