Roseburg Police cited a man for drinking in public Monday night.

An RPD report said just before 11:15 p.m. officers contacted the 52-year-old at the Fir Grove Park soccer field in the 1600 block of West Harvard Avenue where he was allegedly drinking a beer.

The man was released after being given the citation.
