A woman was transported to the hospital following an SUV versus elk crash early Monday.

An Oregon State Police report said just before 1:25 a.m. a trooper responded to the single-vehicle wreck on Interstate 5 southbound near the Glendale exit. The SUV was in the fast lane when the accident took place. The driver and two juvenile passengers did not sustain any injuries, but an adult female passenger was transported by ambulance to Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass for non-life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.
