Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a reported prior fraud incident on Tuesday.
An RPD report said at 11:00 a.m. officers contacted 26-year-old Ariel Taylor during a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Northeast Lincoln Street and arrested her on a previous case. Probable cause was established from a case where Taylor allegedly used a stolen credit card and rented a room at a motel in the 400 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard.
She was charged with first-degree counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and criminal possession of a forged instrument, and for computer crime and conspiracy to commit a Class C felony. Taylor was detained without bail.
