Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged theft incident early Tuesday.

An RPD report said just before 1:50 a.m. an employee said a 28-year old man had stolen three Red Bulls and two bags of chips from a business in the 200 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. He was contacted a few minutes later by officers and allegedly had the items still in his possession.

The man was charged with third-degree theft and for a parole violation. Bail was set at $1,250.
