A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect through 9:00 a.m. Monday for central Douglas County.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service said visibility is less than a quarter of a mile in dense fog. This applies to the central Umpqua Valley from Canyonville to Curtin.
Forecasters said driving conditions are hazardous due to low visibility. Drivers should slow down and allow for plenty of room between their vehicle and other vehicles. Use low beams, keep headlights clean and don’t use cruise control.
