An OSP release said at approximately 12:15 p.m., a K-9 team stopped a vehicle on Interstate 5 northbound for a traffic violation. A K-9 was deployed to sniff the outside of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of illegal drugs.

A subsequent search of the vehicle allegedly revealed a total of 100 pounds of crystal meth located in two large bags in the vehicle’s trunk.

The stop resulted in the arrest of two suspects, the driver, 28-year old Edgar Rene Revolorio and the passenger, 35-year old Surely Nalley Molina Escalante, both of San Bernadino, California.
