The Oregon State University Extension Service in partnership with the Douglas Education Service District will have a QPR suicide prevention class on Wednesday December 13th.

It will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Douglas County Extension Office on Southeast Douglas Avenue in Roseburg.

QPR stands for Question, Persuade and Refer, and is suicide prevention training designed to give residents the confidence and capability to help someone at risk for suicide. 4-H leaders, parents and all community members are invited to attend. The class is offered for those age 18 and older only.
