Monday night at the Winston City Council meeting, police officer Patrick Wright was presented with the “Life Saving Award” by Police Chief Brandon Sarti.

The honor was given due to Wright’s actions during a tragic traffic accident last year in which a young man lost a leg. Sarti praised Wright’s courageous service to the community.
