Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office detained a 13-year old on multiple felony charges on Saturday.

A DCSO report said the juvenile had demanded money/property by use of word or conduct by means of a weapon. The intent was to steal property and use a kitchen knife.

The incident allegedly took place in the 100 block of Tanhassuer Avenue in Green. The teen was charged with second-degree robbery, third-degree theft, unlawful use of a weapon and menacing. The teen was taken to the juvenile detention center.
