Roseburg Police jailed a man for alleged criminal mischief on Friday night.

An RPD report said just before 11:30 p.m. during an argument, the 34-year old allegedly broke the victim’s cellphone when she attempted to call law enforcement. The man left the residence in the 800 block of West Lookingglass Road but returned approximately thirty minutes later and was arrested without incident.

He was charged with second-degree criminal mischief and for interfering with making a police report. The suspect was detained on $12,500 bail.
