The Roseburg City Council approved all items on its agenda Monday night.

A synopsis provided by staff said councilors authorized the city manager to use American Rescue Plan Act funds to make purchases of up to $100,000 without council approval and requested that staff provide reports quarterly and/or at $500,000 spending intervals.

The council authorized the city manager to use ARPA funding for council chamber audio/visual upgrades, IT network upgrades and city radio system upgrades.

Mayor Larry Rich proclaimed April 2023 as Child Abuse Prevention Month and called on the community to help prevent child abuse and strengthen communities by increasing their participation in efforts to support families.

Other items were approved as well. The council meeting lasted for 75 minutes. The next council meeting will be held on April 10th.
