The Oregon State University Extension Service Master Gardener Plant Clinic is now open weekdays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

It is a free service to the public where volunteer master gardeners work to solve gardening questions. The clinic is located at the OSU Extension Service office at 1143 Southeast Douglas Avenue, just east of the courthouse.

Those who can’t come to the office, can call 236-3052 during clinic hours for help over the phone, or leave a message for a return call. Questions can also be emailed: douglasmg@oregonstate.edu. The clinic is a free service offered by the OSU Douglas County Extension Service.

Those who want to learn more about gardening, can also explore the Discovery Garden next to River Forks Park, northwest of Roseburg. It is open to the public daily from dawn to dusk and features sustainable gardening techniques.
