SPRING INTO GARDENING CLASSES COMING IN MARCH

The Douglas County Master Gardeners program of the Oregon State University Extension Service will have its “Spring into Gardening” classes on Saturday March 11th.

They will take place at Phoenix School on Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Small Farms Program Coordinator Logan Bennett will be the keynote speaker at 9:00 a.m. 3 sessions during the day will offer information on a variety of gardening topics. This will include:

*Veggies 101

*Food gardening on a budget

*Secrets of growing beautiful lilies anywhere

Each session will have information on 3 different areas.

Those attending can bring their own lunch, as a break will take place between 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.
