The City of Roseburg Charter Review Committee continues the process of evaluating the current charter.

The group will meet Wednesday October 12th at 4:00 p.m. The existing charter has been in place since 1982. The meeting agenda calls for the review of sections of the charter regarding municipal officers and employees, elections and ordinances.

The committee is making recommendations for changes but the city council will be the group to make the decision about what is eventually finalized. The committee includes councilors Bob Cotterell and Andrea Zielinski, and citizen members Mike Baker, Sheila Cox and Jeffrey Weller. Former councilor Sheri Moothart was also on the committee before her recent resignation.

The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers.
