Friends of the Roseburg Public Library have their fall book sale underway.

The event features library withdrawals and donated books in good condition all selling for 50 cents or less in the Ford Room. Children’s books and mass-market paperbacks will sell for 25 cents. The sale will also include some science fiction, DVD’s and audiobooks.

Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday. All materials will be 25 cents on Saturday.

Proceeds from the event and other book sales held, benefit the library’s collections, programs and projects. Over the past year, it has supported author visits, the Summer Reading program, craft supplies and other projects.
