In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
We’re Not Elvis plays at Music in the Park Thursday night. The group is a country/rock cover and dance band. This is the county’s longest running free summer concert series, and is celebrating its 35th year. Concerts take place at Millsite Park and begin at 6:00 p.m. Those attending should bring lawn chairs or blankets. Food vendors are both on site and nearby.
Music in the Park is coordinated by the Myrtle Creek-Tri City Area Chamber of Commerce and is supported by donations, grants and gifts.
Concerts conclude with Amy Clawson next Thursday night.
