A Coos County man was jailed for alleged online sexual crimes, by Sutherlin Police on Thursday.

Captain Kurt Sorensen said 35-year old Lane Gorst is suspected of having an online sexual relationship with a 15-year old. Sorensen said investigators suspect Gorst of traveling to Sutherlin with the intent of engaging in sex with the juvenile. He was charged with first and second degree counts of online sexual corruption of a child and for luring a minor. Gorst was detained without bail.
