DAY THREE OF THE DOUGLAS COUNTY FAIR

August 12, 2022 4:00 a.m.

Friday is day three of the Douglas County Fair and there are lots of things going on.

The main gate is open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

It is Military Day. Those with military issued identification will get in for free until 5:00 p.m. Kids age 12 and under get free admission all day. Those who “Dress A Veggie” get free admission from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Teens get $2 off admission every day with canned food.

Commercial buildings and carnival rides open at 11:00 a.m.

4H and FFA activities take place all day. The Marshall Tucker Band plays at 8:00 p.m. at the Cascade Community Credit Union Amphitheater. A variety of entertainers will be on The News-Review Garden Park Stage throughout the day.

Buses from Roseburg High School and the First Student Lot in Green run on the hour and half hour from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Parking at the event costs $10 per vehicle.

Admission for adults is $10.
