Greater Douglas United Way launches its 2022-23 fundraising campaign on Thursday September 1st.

Executive Director Bryan Trenkle said the annual kick-off breakfast is set for 7:00 a.m. at Splitz Family Grill.

Trenkle said campaign leaders, board members, and key donors will gather with representatives of member agencies who provide services in Douglas County. The morning’s agenda will include breakfast, an auction, and the unveiling of the 2022-23 Giving Campaign theme.

Trenkle said the purpose of the event is to “…stoke the passion of key United Way supporters, raise some money and have some fun”. He said the bar has been set high again this year and “…we expect to see more proof of how our community continues to Live United”.

Twenty-four local nonprofit organizations and another 200+ non-profit organizations benefitted from last year’s campaign.
