Industrial fire restrictions have increased for parts of the land protected by the Coos Forest Protective Association.

CFPA has imposed a Level II industrial closure in the eastern portion of their district. That includes parts of western Douglas County.

The Level II Limited Shutdown prohibits these activities from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.:

*Operation of power saws, except at loading sites

*Feller-bunchers with rotary head saws

*Cable yarding

*Blasting

*Welding, cutting or grinding of metal
