While the afternoon high temperature hit the triple digits in Roseburg on Tuesday, it was not a record for the date.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said the mercury reached 101 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The record for July 26th was 104 degrees, set in both 1939 and 1998. Medford reached a high of 106 degrees, also not a record. That record for the date was 108 degrees, set in 1939.

Roseburg is slated to have highs in the upper 90’s to 100 degrees through Saturday. Highs in Medford are forecast to reach between 108 degrees and 110 degrees during that time.
