The day use area at Amacher Park reopened late Tuesday afternoon after being closed for several hours.

A release from the Douglas County Parks Department said staff was able to quickly locate and repair a water main leak. The day use area and part of the campground located along Northeast Stephens Street in the Winchester area, had been closed since shortly before 12:00 p.m.
