In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Movies in the Park is back in Roseburg’s Stewart Park Friday night.

Rescheduled from a rainout, the movie Sing 2 will be featured at dusk.

The series is presented by Roseburg Parks and Recreation and is sponsored by Rogue Credit Union.

The evening will begin with pre-movie entertainment at 7:30 p.m. Staff from Wildlife Safari will have animal ambassadors and will educate and interact with those attending.

Popcorn and snacks will be available for purchase. The event is alcohol free. Tobacco is not allowed in the city’s parks system. Children under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Due to June’s weather not cooperating, two more make up dates for Movies in the Park have been set for August 5th and September 16th.
