40TH ANNUAL GRAFFITI WEEKEND IS UNDERWAY

The 40th annual Graffiti Weekend is underway.

It’s the Umpqua Valley’s celebration of classic cars and the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Events are taking place through Sunday, including the 40th annual Umpqua Flatheads Roseburg Graffiti Night Cruise. That is expected to draw thousands of people to downtown Roseburg, with vehicles and visitors from many states.

Wednesday’s activities include:

*Street Memories Kick Off Car Show from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Henry Estate Winery in Umpqua. This is open to all years and makes of cars, trucks and motorcycles. Food vendors will be on site. Registration fee for vehicles being shown is $10, and the event begins at 12:00 p.m.

*Dance Off Social & Benefit at Oran Mor Artisan Mead at the corner of Garden Valley Road and Melrose Road. Social hour and dancing begin at 5:00 p.m. with a $5 registration fee. 60’s-80’s music from Colleen and Co. will be performed from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Food will be available along with beverages.
