Winston is holding an Independence Day Festival this Saturday.

Organizer Onikka Driscoll said the event will include a parade at 11:00 a.m., a festival from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and fireworks at 10:00 p.m.

The parade will go down Main Street with the festival held at Riverbend Park. Driscoll said there will be around forty-five vendors including shave ice, a coloring contest, face painting and much more.

DC Cheer will perform at 1:00 p.m. with Velvet Whiskey playing at 6:00 p.m. A color guard will perform the National Anthem at 9:30 p.m. with the fireworks show at dusk.
