Sutherlin Police jailed a man for fourth-degree assault and three restraining order violations on Tuesday.

Captain Kurt Sorenson said the 36-year old violated a restraining order by going to a residence in 100 block of Bambi Lane while the protected party was there, and then assaulting another victim. The suspect was located in a neighboring trailer and taken into custody. Bail was set at $16,000.
