ROSEBURG CITY BUILDINGS TO CLOSE MONDAY

June 30, 2022 3:40 a.m.

City of Roseburg buildings will be closed Monday, in observance of the fourth of July Independence Day holiday.

A release said City Hall, the Public Safety Center, Roseburg Public Library and other buildings will not be open to the public. Police and firefighters will continue to provide public safety throughout the holiday.

Lobbies at City Hall and the Public Safety Center, both on Southeast Douglas Avenue, are normally open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., although City Hall closes for the lunch hour.

The holiday commemorates July 4, 1776, when the Continental Congress of the 13 American colonies adopted the Declaration of Independence from Great Britain.
