ROSEBURG VA GOES LIVE WITH NEW ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORDS

June 29, 2022 3:20 a.m.

Staff with the Roseburg VA Health Care System are ready to use the new VA electronic health record technology in an effort to streamline their health care for veterans.

A release said starting in July, the RVAHCS will send statements to veterans for health care, except for statements referencing pharmacy services, TRICARE, and recurring visits related to a course of treatment.

Within this period, veterans may receive two separate statements, one generated by the EHR system that includes the sum of copayments for services rendered after June 11th and one from the legacy system with charges incurred prior to that date.

Those with questions can call the VA staff at 440-1000, extension 44798, weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
