A Roseburg woman was jailed after an alleged elude incident on Monday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 10:30 p.m. 37-year old Cody Jackson was called in as a DUII driver on Northeast Douglas Avenue. An officer got behind the pickup on Douglas and observed traffic infractions. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle at Northeast Rifle Range Road but the driver refused to stop. Jackson eventually turned onto Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. Speeds varied from five to forty-five miles per hour onto Northeast Winchester Street and onto Northeast Stephens Street.

A deputy was able to successfully spike strip all four tires near the 2300 block of Northeast Stephens Street. Jackson came to a stop a short distance away but refused to get out of the vehicle. A taser was deployed and the suspect was removed from the pickup. An officer transported her to Douglas County Corrections where she performed standard field sobriety tests. She performed poorly but provided a blood alcohol level of .00 percent, which was inconsistent with her level of impairment.

Jackson was charged with attempt to elude, driving while suspended-misdemeanor, DUII-controlled substance and for a parole violation. She was detained without bail and her vehicle was impounded.
