Walk on the Wide Side with Wine in Winston is set for Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The event is a fundraiser for the feral cat awareness spay/neuter program. It begins at Civic Wayside Park. $35 entry tickets are available in advance at www.universe.com. They include entrance to the Wine Garden, six tasting vouchers, a wine glass to paint and two raffle entries. Many activities will take place including a wine bus drive through at Wildlife Safari, and a selfie contest with a $200 prize.

Several wineries are participating. Craft beer and mead will be available as well.
