Two fire districts are joining the Douglas Forest Protective Association, the Umpqua National Forest and the Bureau of Land Management in announcing that fire season will begin on Friday.

Douglas County Fire District No. 2 and the Winston-Dillard Fire District will follow the same fire restrictions that are listed by DFPA, according to a release from the districts.
