A man was jailed after alleged strangulation incidents, by Sutherlin Police on Sunday.

An SPD report said at about 10:45 p.m. the 52-year old was arrested in the 300 block of East Central after an investigation showed he committed the crime of strangulation during two incidents when he allegedly put his hands or arms around the victim’s neck to restrict her breathing.

The man was detained on $6,250 bail.
