In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

As summer begins Tuesday, so does the 30th anniversary season of Music on the Half Shell. Held at the Nichol’s Band Shell in Roseburg’s Stewart Park, the series brings music from a wide variety of genres. A longtime favorite, Portland’s Pink Martini will kick off eight weeks of shows:

Those attending can bring their dinner, including wine or beer, or purchase a meal from the food trucks and other vendors on-site. Blankets can be put out ahead of time to reserve space. While free to attend, the series is funded by donations from companies and individuals.
