COVID-19 has claimed three more local lives, with cases dropping fourteen percent in the past week.
The Douglas County COVID-19 Weekly Recap said there were 211 cases of COVID-19 reported in the seven-day period ending Wednesday. Of those, 201 are people who have received positive test results and ten were presumptive.
The new deaths included men who were 76, 71 and 97 years of age. One was fully vaccinated and up-to-date, one was partially vaccinated and not up-to-date, and one was not vaccinated.
During the pandemic, 405 people in the county have died related to COVID-19. 8 county residents are currently hospitalized related to COVID-19. 6 of the 8 are not fully vaccinated.
