The City of Reedsport is advising residents that the Water Department is responding to a water line break that occurred in the 2000 block of Elm Avenue Tuesday.
The break is affecting residential homes and businesses between south 20th Street and south 21st Street, adjacent to Lions Park.
The City said in a press release, “Residents in the area will experience intermittent water outages until the repair is complete.”
A City update Wednesday said, “We are working diligently to repair the line and restore water service as soon as we can.”
Residents are asked to be aware of, and cautious around the workers in the area and use alternative routes if possible.
