After the first two Movies in the Park at Stewart Park were canceled earlier this month due to inclement weather, organizers hope to move forward with the event at Stewart Park in Roseburg this Friday.

Pre-movie entertainment begins at 7:30 p.m.

The Disney movie Encanto will begin at dusk.

The event is free and open to the public.

Children 13-years-old and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Alcohol, tobacco, and pets will not be allowed at the event.

Movies in the Park is sponsored by Roseburg Parks and Recreation and Rogue Credit Union.

The current forecast is showing showers likely on Friday with high mid-to-upper 60s.
