The driver was cited following a DUII wreck on Interstate 5 northbound Wednesday.

An OSP report said just after 5:00 p.m. troopers responded to the single-vehicle accident just south of Glendale. The driver was taken to Three Rivers Hospital in Grants Pass with minor injuries.

The report said evidence indicated the pickup left its lane and traveled into the dirt median then made an erratic turn, traveling across all lanes and striking the guard rail. The vehicle then drove across all lanes of travel again before crashing into a tree where it came to an uncontrolled rest.

The driver was cited for DUII-controlled substances, and having no operator license. He was warned for traffic violations. Charges for two-counts of reckless endangering and one of reckless driving are being referred to Josephine County DA for consideration.
